This is my “new” blog, now made using Hugo, a static site engine written in Go.

As I couldn’t find a good template which satisfied me (or which handled responsive HTML in a “sane” manner), I built most of it from scratch.

Thanks for reading!

My name is Marco Fontani.

I am a Free and Open Source software user, and developer. I have been developing in C since the early ’90s, in Perl since the late ’90s and I have been using other languages on and off for the past twenty-five years.

I have used Linux since the Slackware 3.6 release in 1998 or thereabouts, and have used it as my main operating system for quite a long time.

I am currently working as a freelance developer, from my home near Milan, Italy.

You can find me on Github, Twitter, LinkedIn, Keybase, Facebook, or on my blog.
